FOSPA TEAS – 2017 Season – 36 years of FOSPA Teas

Our new season starts on Sunday 21st May and we will be serving teas every Sunday from 2-5pm throughout the summer until our Harvest Festival week-end on 1st October.

People come from far and wide on Sunday afternoons for our famous home-made cakes and scones and to enjoy the beauty, peace and quiet of our lovely church and grounds.

Many also browse and buy items from our weekly Bric-a-Brac stall.

We look forward to seeing again all our regular friends and customers, and especially to welcoming everyone who visits us for the first time.

Everyone is most welcome:- individuals, families, groups of walkers and cyclists etc….if possible, advance warning of groups larger than 12-15 would be appreciated to ensure we have enough cakes! (contact no. 01943 830372)

Over the years, FOSPA has raised over £200,000 for the maintenance and enhancement of St. Peter’s Church, hall and grounds. In recent years we have contributed to the refurbishment of the organ, paid for alterations to the bell tower and church clock and most recently, financed the updating of the church lighting including eco-friendly light fittings and the pillar lights with a dimmer switch.  Last year FOSPA paid the whole of the cost of redecorating of the Church.

St. Peter’s is a fair trade church, which means we are committed to serving only fairly traded tea, coffee and sugar at FOSPA teas.
