FOSPA TEAS – 30th Anniversary Season 2012
This is a special year for FOSPA, for as well the national events taking place this summer we will be celebrating 30 years of FOSPA. It was on 10th July 1982 that FOSPA teas were first served in our church hall, and have been every summer since.
Our new season starts on Sunday 27th May and we will be serving teas every Sunday from 2-5pm throughout the summer until our Harvest Festival week-end on 7th October.
On Sunday 8th July we invite all our friends and customers, both old and new, to join us for a complimentary cup of tea or coffee and a piece of celebration cake, in addition to our usual FOSPA teas. Please put this date in your diaries now!
We will be open as usual on the Diamond Jubilee week-end- 3rd June, and on 24th June the Olympic Torch is due to be driven along the Addingham by-pass at about 4.30pm.
We look forward to seeing again all our regular friends and customers, and to welcome everyone who visits us for the first time, to sample our famous home-made cakes and scones and to enjoy the beauty of St. Peter’s church and grounds.
FOSPA funding has made a wonderful contribution to the maintenance of the church and the hall and the grounds, including most of the cost of the organ restoration and enhancement, and work on the belltower. THANKYOU.
